I understand that Ayurveda Wellness Counselors and Yoga Instructors are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness and that nothing said in the course of the appointment/workshop should be construed as such. I further understand that Ayurvedic consultations and yoga instruction are never a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and that I should see a physician or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment of which I am aware. Because yoga or herbal ingestions should not be performed under certain medical conditions, I affirm that I have stated all my known medical conditions and answered all questions honestly. I agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in my medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner’s part or that of KALA Ayurveda, LLC should I fail to do so. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns, or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against KALA Ayurveda, LLC, it’s owner, it’s staff members or instructors for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

KALA Ayurveda, LLC, it’s owner, staff members and affiliate instructors do not claim to be medical professionals. The herbs, guidance offered in consultations, and product descriptions listed on this website have not been evaluated by and are not approved by the FDA. The actions of each herb or product are descriptions of their traditional uses and are for informational purposes only. Every body is different and herbs or products made from herbs may have different effects for every individual using them. Herbal products or guidance suggestions are not guaranteed to work or work the same for everyone.

KALA Ayurveda, LLC’s writings do not claim or intend to treat, diagnose, prevent, or cure any disease, nor are they meant to replace any advice from any other medical professional or doctor. KALA Ayurveda, LLC will not be held responsible for an reactions, adverse effects, or misuse of its products or information, as they are just suggestions. Customers/clients choose to use or not use suggested products at their own free will. Client is responsible for the completion of all payment plans associated with products and services they purchase. KALA Ayurveda, LLC reserves the right to seek recovery of any money remaining unpaid. 

I understand that my appointment is reserved specifically for me and that a cancellation for any reason within 24 hours of the appointment start time incurs a late cancellation fee of 50%. I understand that this policy also applies in the case that I fail to notify the studio of my intended cancellation and subsequently do not attend my appointment.
